We wrote about the desperate need of a new logo for Urban Outfitters in a previous post, maybe someone was listening?  It’s an interesting, completely unique choice and a big improvement, although certain letters stand out in a negative way over others, the “U” in particular. The store has a loyal following amongst a younger demographic and smartly there is nothing serious about the logo. The site however has grown up a bit, there is now a suit shop with the additions of new brands General Assembly and Hawkings McGill. Overall a very positive step for the retailer. It will be interesting to see how this online facelift translates to their 140 stores.
