SPECIAL EDITION: RACING STYLE

It’s important to have balance in your office and home space: a meaningful book, well placed at work to offset a stapler or tape dispenser, or in my case, a few hefty coffee table books at home – buried under coloring books and little dolls. “Racing Style” by Kolo Bolofo is a photographic representation of the Goodwood Revival, a motor car race with vehicles from the 40s, 50s and 60s. Just glancing at the cover evokes a feeling of adventure and old school glamor. That’s a simplification, but it’s the little things that can go a long way in a cluttered and complicated life. From the publishers:

“The Goodwood Revival relives the glory days of the legendary Goodwood Motor Circuit, Britain’s leading racing venue between 1948 and 1966, and host to contemporary racing of all kinds, including Formula One. Racing Style brings us back to the tracks, as they once were, offering all the romance and excitement of original motorcar racing. This edition celebrates Goodwood through the years with engaging and unusual photos. On each luminous page, the reader is invited to peek at details of the era, from the cockpits of Bugattis to the competitors and spectators who dress in period clothing. Racing Style artistically captures all these special memories in a timeless edition devoted to beauty and movement.” Koto Bolofo was born in South Africa in 1959. $300 new, $37 second-hand, available at Amazon.

  1. From my little point of view I would tend to disagree with that. There are not evidences nor positive proofs of that but I will leave the more experts forum bloggers to tell it greater than before than I could following my needy words. Too many times we handily declare others and the others’ ideas without having a determined union of the business or of what these people may be going thru. We’re often too superficial and this makes us throw our judgements without reflecting upon the topic enough. This is my 2 cents. IMHO.
