USA WORLD CUP TRACK JACKETS
HOTEL COSTES CHAMAELEONIDAE
From the very talented Paris-based musician and DJ, Seuil. Chamaeleonidae delivers a huge mix of styles, influences and thumping dance floor beats. From the team at Hotel Costes, always a safe play. The album cover artwork is super tight.
U.S. MEN’S WORLD CUP STYLE
Great uniforms. I love the old-school banner detail and navy and white strong color scheme. Doesn’t hurt that it’s shown here on Oguchi Onyewu as he towers over Wayne Rooney in the teams rather fortunate 1-1 draw.

Clearly drawing inspiration from the 1950′s U.S. team (and hoping for similar results?) Nike got it right. Nothing fancy. (Think of the yellow Charlie Brown stripe on Slovenia’s jerseys). There still is room for improvement, for instance:

A terrible logo, nothing beautiful or modern about it, just stuck in the middle, looks 80′s. If you’re going with vintage classic jersey’s, design a logo that feels more authentic. Just look at the logo on Rooney’s uniform above for a superb example:

Much cooler. An eagle or some use of iconography would look sharp, perhaps 2014 in Brazil?
